Do you share my information?
No, only the shop you choose has access to your claim-related information.
Do you sell my information?
No, this is a service offered through your insurance company and no information is provided to any outside party.
Do you show only insurance company-approved shops?
AutoAdvise strives to make all shops in your area available regardless of affiliation. S
hops that are approved or endorsed by your insurance company are likely to be included in your shop list.
I decided I want to go to a different shop, now what?
No problem, you can change your shop selection online at any time. We'll let the old shop know you won't be coming in and get your information to the new shop.
What if I decide not to get my car fixed?
We understand that plans can change. If you decide not to use the shop you chose, we simply ask that you let us and the shop know so you won't continue to receive our notification emails.
If you haven't chosen a shop yet you can opt-out of AutoAdvise online at any time. This also lets us know not to continue to send you email notifications.
Where do AutoAdvise shops come from?
The goal of AutoAdvise is to have all shops across the nation available for car owners to review. Shops join voluntarily and manage their own profile information.
We work hard to keep our shop list up to date, but keep in mind that shops may close or move locations and new ones are always opening.
Does AutoAdvise have minimum requirements for shops?
Yes, a registered AutoAdvise shop has to meet certain requirements and sign a EULA (End User License Agreement) prior to setting up their profile.
What if I have a shop in mind?
Great, just select the shop you want to use from our list and we’ll electronically send them your information. They'll be in touch with you to schedule your repair.
What happens after I pick a shop?
AutoAdvise will give the shop your contact information and they'll get in touch with you to schedule your vehicle drop-off and make any other arrangements.
We'll also email you a link to leave feedback for the shop once your repairs are done.
Why should I leave feedback?
Your feedback helps other car owners make informed decisions about which shop to use.
This is your opportunity to tell the shop if you're unhappy with their work, or to tell others that you had a great experience.
Do you warranty my repairs?
No, AutoAdvise is simply a shop research and selection service. Any guarantees concerning the repair are between you, the repair shop and your insurance company.
There are no warranties, real or implied, when selecting a shop via AutoAdvise.
Shops are able to outline their individual warranties on their shop profile.
Who pays the shop for the repair?
Managing the deductible and cost of the repair is between you, the repair shop and your insurance company.
Please contact your insurance agent with any questions about payment, as AutoAdvise does not get involved with repair reimbursements.
